The bible is about a loving father (God) and his children (Man). It's the best parenting book there is. Its also good for all ages, races, etc. And it teaches wisdom, food preparation, home economics, business and finance, etc.

The bible can be viewed as a book of ethics, a code of ethics on how to live, hopefully though the way you were raised by your parents will be guide enough. My biggest suggestion would be to treat your children the way you would want to be treated in the same situation. Some books on parenting could help you understand where your child is coming from at a certain age in there lives.

I believe the Bible has all the answers and the Holy Spirit Is the best teacher and you need a good Church family .
Many Christians become bad parents when listening to false teachers and false pastors and the children suffer for the sins of there parents

The Bible will go a long way in raising your children. No matter what, use the Bible! You may also want some other books by Christian writers that will help too.

If you are a Christian, God will show you the way to parent through prayer and constant belief in Him. However, that is not to say that magazines such as "Parent" won't be helpful as well. Try also going to a Christian bookstore and purchasing Christian parental books. The Bible, is also, of course, a good reference for life.

you need the Bible and the Holy Spirit. the Bible will not make sense to you without the indwelling of the Spirit to guide you to the truth.
books by good Christian authors, such as James Dobson, are good to give you creative ideas how to handle things, but they should be used alongside the Bible and as a supplement, not take priority.

The Bible is an owners manuel. Trust me when I tell you that you can find the answer to all of your questions in the Bible. When in doubt...just pray. Your answers will come from above.

Use a book, not the bible. Determine the difference between real love and discipline and the crap that requires you to treat your kid as a punching bag.
