This is one I told when I worked at a shoe store: Guy comes in looking f or my boss I say "you didn't know!!!?" "Know what" says guy...I say "Just about 20 min ago Gus had a heart attack fell on the floor, so we called 911 and they rushed him to the hospital, and we're not sure he's going to make it" as soon as I knew it the guy was gone, he went to the hospital nearby to check on my boss. About 5 min later my boss comes back from lunch and askes me if anyone came by I said "yeah I told him you died of a heart attack"....since that time till the time I left my boss asked me to lie to at least 1 person a day...so I did.
