What is the best to use to remove cat urine odor from a washable/scotch guarded microsuede sofa cushion?

I have a steam vac and am going to steam clean it, but I have only put a vinegar solution on it now to start neutralizing the proteins, etc, in the urine spot. I want to use the right and best cleaning solution for cleaning it. Thanks.

You would be better off having a professional comapany do your cleaning..as cat urine spreads (looks like a lil spot but spreads under the surface) You can try to treat the spot yourself..After your done cleaning and the spot dries, take a blacklight and go over the spot..sounds weird but cat urine glows under black light..

It's soaked through to the cushion, so you need to take the cover off and clean the cushion as well. They have odor cleaners you might wanna try.

I hope you get rid of the cat for one, but after you steam it about a dozen times, just go ahead and throw the couch away, it will never come off and god forgive you get another cat, he will mark it again because the old cat provoked him.

Yes use your steam cleaner.Use the right kind of soap...You will probably have to do it at least three more times to make sure that you get all the odor out...

reduce that piece of carpet out, sparkling the floor with puppy smell remover and replace with a clean piece of carpet. in case you get the same color carpet you could in high quality condition it in and it ought to look high quality. From what i understand vinegar has the same sort of smell as urine and pets will go back to the spot.
