I feel the same way with you and can sympathize with what you are going through.

However, I've discovered several answers to my problem:

Job for example is a character that God tested and not only he felt forsaken by God but also by his wife, his friends, and basically his children because they were gone.

Another character is King Hezekiah. The Bible says, "God withdrew from Hezekiah in order to test him and to see what was really in his heart."

2 Chronicles 32:31

In what way has he forsaken you? You don't say what the problem is here. God has never forsaken anyone. But he will not override our free will choice so if we turn away from him he will not stop us doing so. Howwever, he yearns to love and bless us every day. If you believe he has forsaken you then you must be going through a difficult time of things and you must have prayed to him and got no answer. If so, then you are going through a similar time to what I was going through recently. I prayed and pleaded but no answers seemed to come. I almost lost my home, I was deep in debt, I had no job, and every step I took just seemed to backfire in my face. Then I got angry (yes, really). Not at God himself. I would never do that, but at the situation. In my anger and dispair I called to God and told him that I couldnt take any more. That I couldn't handle the problem. I shouted to God that I wasn't going to do it anymore. That I was going to give up struggling and just trust him. Either he is a God or he isn't. Either his word is truth or it isn't. I stopped trying to do it myself and threw the whole problem to him. And within seconds of doing so I had two phone calls. One from the housing benefit people to say that they were paying me (where they had been delaying for weeks). The other from my current Job to say they wanted me to start the following monday (This was a wednesday). The next day, someone stepped forward and gave me the financial help I needed to pay my debts and cover me until I could get my first wages. My difficulties with family and friends all became resolved and they all now have a deeper respect for me then before. My problems melted away. Within twenty four hours I was living the more abundant life I am now enjoying. All because I quit struggling a let God have it all. Don't get me wrong, we do need to do our bit, but sometimes we try to do God's bit as well and because of our freewill choice he cannot and will not overule us. So perhaps this is what is going on for you too? If it helps then that will be great. I will probably never know if it does, but I will be blessed to know it might.
If you need someone to talk to to help you with your believing then please email me. I am a son of God and will do my honest best to answer any questions/queries, and to offer honest advice where I can.

He hasn't forsaken you because he wasn't there in the first place.

Before my wife died religion to me was something that some believe in and some don't. I never really thought about it, but if push came to shove, I would have probably said I would like to think that there is a God, a heaven etc...

When I was 28 years old my wife died. This affected me big time. I am still on medication nearly 10 years later. As time has passed, if one thing has become absolutely crystal clear to me, I mean so clear I would stake my own life on it. It is that there is no God, no heaven and no hell. When you die, you die and that is it, end of story.

Sometimes God calms the storm and sometimes God calms the child. Perhaps He has not forsaken you but is allowing some trial in your life right now to help someone else at a later time through the same trial.

God will never foresaken you, he gave his only Son for you. Pray to him for his guidance. He will show you the way.

God has not forsaken you. He loves you so much that He sat by and watched and did nothing while His Son was tortured and killed just because He wants you there in Heaven with Him so badly. The Bible says that if you will come back to Him, He will rejoice over you with singing. Isn't that awesome? Just talk to Him. He'll answer.

Footsteps In The Sand

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the LORD.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand:
one belonging to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him
he looked back, at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times of his life.

This really bothered him and he questioned the LORD about it:
"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you,
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

If you have ever become a Christian then you have not been forsaken. For Jesus has said, 'Never will I leave you , never will I forsake you.'
If you haven't yet come to know Jesus as Lord. Then Its not God who has forsaken you, its yoiu who have foraken God. You can change that by coming to him right now and turning from your sin and letting Jesus in your heart.

God has not forsaken you - you 'feel' far away from God but that does not mean that you are far away, or that He has forsaken you!
Everything at it's core is energy - this energy IS God and we are all part of this whole! ....so God cannot forsake you!
BUT this energy is either high vibrating (good, happy, kind, generous, etc) or low vibrating (bad, miserable, sad, angry, bitter, etc). The lower our energy vibration, the further away from God that we feel. Its NOT where God is, it's where WE are that matters!!!!
