It's normal to feel tired. Try not to get up too fast. Ask your caregiver about your hemoglobin and your blood sugar levels. You could be low on iron, or you could be having some blood sugar problems. There is a condition called gestational diabetes that occurs in some women, particularly heavy set women. But if it's not severe, just take it easy. It's normal as long as it's not getting excessive. Just make sure you get enough rest - it's hard to want to do everything you usually do but as you get further and further thru your pregnancy you will slowly have to learn to do less and less becuase your body is working so hard at growing your baby. good luck!

Yes, it's normal. Your body produces 20% more blood when you're pregnant, so it's common to feel dizzy/lightheaded/faint. I fainted several times during my first pregnancy. Just be sure to stay hydrated and if you feel dizzy, SIT down before you FALL down!! :)

Some dizziness is probably to be expected, but not all the time. It may be normal but there may be something that your physician can do for you anyway. See your doctor or call a consulting nurse. You certainly don't want to risk a fall.

Hmm... That could just be the hormones in your body..do you notice if you get dizzy when you are lying down...or is it when you stand up... I would suggest if you are lying down and want to get up that you get up slowly and let your legs dangle on the side of the bed for a while and then stand up... If you are sitting...when you stand up don't start walking right away..let yourself get oriented and then start walking.. If you are dizzy when you are lyinf on your back...try lying on your left side... If this persists I would mention it to my doc next time I had an appointment... It's probably nothing..just one of those things that happen to you when you are pregnant that they don't tell you about..LoL Good Luck with the rest of your pregnancy~

Hi, janetsernoh, my name is Hank. It's never normal to feel light-headed and dizzy. You should see your doctor. Let him know about your dizziness and pregnancy.

Check with the doctor - you may just be anemic - very common with pregnancy. Take it easy. Blood pressure can fluctuate and cause that too.

Yes. Try eat at least one saltine every hour. You need to keep your body well fed and hydrated. Your baby is more important to your body now so you are just not eating enough.

I would make an appointment asap just to check your blood pressure. That may be the cause.

Yes, it can be normal, but you should talk to your doctor about it b/c your iron could be low and he might want to put you on some iron pills.
