Yes, I would continue my pregnancy. Medicine is not an exact science...nothing can proven 100% that something will definitely be horribly wrong with your baby. I would rather give my baby a chance at life, knowing that he COULD be "normal" than to abort him, wondering for the rest of my life if I had done the right thing. If the baby was, in fact, born with a terminal condition that would cause him great pain, that's what pain medicines are for...morphine, etc.

Doctors don't know everything! I would pray alot. I would not get an abortion no matter what! What would you do if you had an abortion then come to find out they were wrong and the baby was perfectly healthy how would you feel then?I think every life no matter what the chances, deserves a chance at life. If a person doesn't want kids they need to protect themselves, and if they get pregnant then they should give the baby up for adoption. I pray for the people that think abortion is right and hopefully one day they will get saved and realize what they believe in is wrong!

You would not be the first person to get that kind of news from a doctor and then go on to have a perfectly healthy, normal baby. Or maybe a baby with such a mild problem that the baby went on to live a perfectly happy, healthy normal life.
Hope this helps,
Rebecca

I would still not have the abortion. There are so many medical advancements now, that the baby could possibly be saved. Plus, if that baby was not meant to be brought into this world, God wouldn't have allowed it.
And doctors can be wrong. my best friend was told that her baby would have down syndrome, and would not be able to function on his own. Guess what?? They were wrong. He is a very normal and smart 6 year old....

Absolutely.
What? You think Im going to spend enternity in Hell just so some baby doesnt have to spend a couple of pain filled hours of life on earth? Hell, Ive managed to withstand 35 years of painful crap...the f*cking baby can live a little too! I dont care - I only care about my own ticket into Heaven! Screw the baby!

why not u dont know if them specalyists are right or not and you dont know what god can do for that child. god could heal ur baby right before the babys born u never know what can happen i would still have the baby cause i would have it in the faith of god to help my baby and u never know if the doctors are wrong cause thay never know for sure whats wrong with a baby before its born so that can go many ways but i would at least take the chance of giving the baby life cause that baby may get healed

Your question kind of puts off every answer except for "Yes, I would continue the pregnancy". Why bring a child into the world only to suffer? That's cruel in itself.

you should continue in your pregnancy because obviously there is a reason why God allowed you to be pregnant and pregnancy is a beautiful thing keep your baby and don't worry about what those doctors are saying

sure would. happened with my last daughter. also told me i would die. she wasn't just a life, but a SOUL. thank God she was perfect in every way, almost 8 years old. God allowed me to live too......also, doctors would give the baby something for the suffering, the baby would not be in pain.

God is still in the miracle working business. I was not expected to live but God smiled down on me 40 something years ago and he can do the same for you. my husband has a perfectly healthy daughter 19 yrs. old ,was told everything was not going to be good but it was. I could go on and on
