There is a possibility that she was not pregnant. There are other things that could have caused her not to have her period during that time. Did she take an at home pregnancy test?
Since she now has her period and she's wondering if she had a miscarriage, she does need to go to the doctor. When you miscarry there could always be part of the placenta left in the uterus and that could cause lots of problems.
She needs to call her doctor and get in to see him or her as soon as possible.
You're a great friend for checking into this for her! Good luck!

Just because she didn't have a period for three months doesn't necessarily mean she was pregnant. Stress, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, etc... Could have been the cause for no period.
At three months she would have noticed a gray like substance or pieces of the sac in the blood expelled from her body. This would also be accompanied by severe cramping (at least it did for me). Most times a woman's body will take care of everything, but sometimes it doesn't. If her body does not expel all of the fetus she could get a very serious infection and could prohibit herself from having children the future. I suggest number one, she takes a home pregnancy test to see if the HCG hormone is still present. Two, she should still go see a doctor to make sure she doesn't need a D&C or need medical treatment for not having a period. I am not trying to scare either of you but it is very important she goes to the doctor either way. I hope everything turns out well for her. God bless.
P.S. If she has had a fever she needs to go to the hospital ASAP.

you'd be nice on your honeymoon even if for some bizarre reason you do take position to miscarry. If it occurs there would nicely be blood and clotting and cramping. finally you'll bypass the significant area of tissue. If that does take position make positive you spot your dr to make positive that it befell thoroughly. maximum miscarriages take position at domicile and without themes. you may want to also miscarry and characteristic no blood or cramping and not in any respect even understand you probably did till the dr unearths out many times by using ultrasound. that is called a neglected miscarriage. i have had 2 of those and a million the position i had bleeding. i have had one D&C and 2 befell at domicile obviously without themes. you ought to purely be thinking case you're bleeding so heavy that you're dealing with a pad each and every hour. extremely there is not any consider aggravating about this esp along with your drawing close wedding ceremony and honeymoon. likely the toddler is nice and could be nice. Your aggravating your self for no reason. attempt to attempt to loosen up and luxuriate on your wedding ceremony and your honeymoon and congrats on the being pregnant.

Wow, she really should have went to a doctor to find out what was going on. You can't self diagnose a miscarriage just because you miss three months of periods, it could be something else. She needs to get to a doctor and tell him about what's been going on. If it was a miscarriage then she may need a D&C.

She still needs to be checked to make sure she doesn't have any blod clots or placenta still there. Also she runs a risk of an infection.
Also, she really needs to get treatment. Is she scared that someone will find out she's pregnant? She could be threatening to lose the baby. I hope she will go as she could end up worse by allowing this to go untreated.
Finally, she could still be pregnant, and she needs prenatal care if that is the case. And if she is pregnant and bleeding she has a serious medical condition that could harm the baby.

She can get an infection if there is something left inside that did not come out (there is no way for her to know). She needs to go to the Dr's and have a D and C (dilation and cutlerage). That cleans out any materials that weren't expelled with the miscarriage.

YES! YES! YES! If she dosen't go and she still has something in her body it could decompose and cause her to get really really sick if it is not taken care of sometimes it dosen't all come out and you have to have a D &C If it gets to bad it could cause her not to have children again. Encourage her to go she could be in trouble it can't hurt her only help to know.!!!!!!!!!! Or she could be pregnant and having trouble either way she needs to see a Dr.

She needs to go to the Dr. She may not have passed the whole thing. That is why they do D & Cs. If she does not go and there is some still in her she can get very sick.
