Yes you can! But it is elegal! First you need somsort of DVD decription software wich removes the copywright on the DVD then you need a DVD ripping software Like Nero 7. The best Software you can get 4 this purpose is DVD Shrink. Search the web and u'll find sum pages where you can Download That software!
Good luck!

Well, yes u certainly can, although copying protected media is illegal. There are various programs that allow u 2 bypass these copyright protections. There are programs like DVDShrink and DVDDecription which can be used to burn the disc, but then it is illegal. Remember, take caution when doing things as such, there are programs that actually tell the histtory of discs and if it has been copied etc..I have yet to come by one of these but i know for a fact because i know people who have plagiarized term papers which were to be handed in by CD, and the professor detected it, no idea how...

The Macrovision protection prevents copying video to a video recorderd. CSS encryption of the data on the disk is intended to prevent duplicating the bits to a new DVD.

There are ways to defeat this but the only legal justification for doing this is "Fair use" where you have purchased the original copy and are making copies for your own personal use only.

Since you are renting the DVDs, you don't own the original disc and so making a copy for yourself would not be "Fair use" and would be illegal.

They have copywrite protection on them to keep you from just using a burning program like nero to do it. However, if you do a little research at dvdshrink, it's very easy to get around. I should know....hehehe
