when i push email button on keyboard it goes to outlook and going to tools,programs it wont let me type yahoo?

im computer eliterate. so if u can explain in simple terms that would be great.i dont know why programs only gives me 3 options to choose. i want to go to yahoo mail when i push email button.on this new keyboard. help

That key is meant to open up email programs that are installed on your computer (Outlook, Outlook Express, AOL). Yahoo is Internet email and it does not reside on your computer. I don't know if it's possible or not, but maybe if you install Yahoo mail software it will include a plug-in that will add Yahoo to that list. I know some sort of mail alert comes with Yahoo Messenger so you could try installing that or the latest one if you have an older version. Another thing you could try is setting up Outlook Express to download your Yahoo email (You'd have to search Yahoo for which setting to use). Then you could set the key to open Outlook Express and you'd get your Yahoo mail there. Personally though I don't think it's worth the trouble. Just make Yahoo your home page and go to it from there like everyone else. Use the keyboard key to open your home email (the email you get from your Internet provider).

your keyboard is going to a mail system in your computer, which is outlook express, or Microsoft outlook

Go to tools, internet options, type in http://www.my.yahoo.com/
Go down to where the apply button is and click, then click OK.
