You have to make sure that both the boy and the girl are in good moods, bad moods can lead to disaster. There also needs to be some type of attraction between them... Its different depending on whether you are playing The Sims- Original or Sims2...
In the original I believe they have to be in love in order to have a baby, but what you want to do is have them both relax on the bed... they then need to "make out" several times to put them in the "mood" after several kisses an option will pop up that says something along the lines of... "Should we have a baby"... you can choose either yes or no... and well you know what happens next....
In the SIMS 2, both need to be in good moods, but I don't believe they need to be in love, there needs to be some type of attraction between them though... Have them both relax in a bed... and then if a baby is possible between them an option will appear that says "try for baby" it may take more then one try to actually have a baby but you know your gonna have one if you hear the lullaby song play after they are finished....

lol. Its kinda weird. Make sure you and you husband/spouse really love each other (lots of making out) .... and the baby just appears one morning.
" As for the natural method, simply have a guy kiss a girl a lot (or visa versa, it doesn't matter who kisses whom) and the option will come up "Would you like to have a baby?" No, you don't get to see them have sex. The baby just appears, magically. The sex and personality are set at birth, you have no control over that. You do get to name the baby, though."

have them both relax in a bed then click on the other sim and click try for baby or woo hoo.

make the mum and dad (or gf and bf) have sex. trust me, that really is how you do it. click the thing that says makeout.
