Jumpsoles are plastic soles that attach to your feet and add weight for certain exercises. They add 6-8 inches to your leap. This only takes a couple of months and can be found in sport shops like Big 5.

build your leg muscles, and practice walking on the front parts of your feet. I don't mean look like you're creeping around, but almost walk as if you're trying to be quiet. Jump a lot, and don't land on the ball of your foot.

I used to be a midget growing up, and loved to play basketball. In time, I became and arrived at 6'4", and the above methods work surely. Building the right kind of muscle is a big part. You need to build that stringy, elastic lean muscle...not just a bunch of muscle. The chinese are very good at building that...seek the guidance of a licensed instructor.

Good luck.

The fastest way is this....It mite be a little painful but it works trust me

Stretch your legs thoroughly..go to the gym for about 2 weeks straight every other day and press your legs.....Start off pressing about 20lbs more than you weight.
(If you weigh 180..start pressing around 215 and add more as it gets easier)
Guaranteed way to increase your vertical u have to be focused though and u have to want it.

The bottom line is the more you're legs can easily carry the higher you can jump..
If your legs can only carry you're body weight then add about 25 more lbs..Physics says it'll work

When I was in high school I knew this guy--6'3"--he could stand under the basket and dunk without running--pretty impressive. He said running on the beach in bare feet was best--the sand strengthens the legs from the toes up.

plyometrics. work on explosive squats (with a light weight) and regular squats (with a weight you can do 4-8 reps with), too.
