Well if I had a pick it would be Episode V, The Empire Strikes Back. Mainly because it is such a kick in the teeth jolt in the end that Darth Vader reveals the truth. "Luke, I am your father" Classic...That rocks I think more than any of the other ones. 4 and 6 are awesome, 1 and 2 are ok, they got alot better with 3 though.

In order of my favorites, Episode 6: Return of the Jedi, Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, Episode 4: A New Hope, Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back, Episode 2: Attack of the Clones, Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. This coming from a huge Star Wars geek. Thanks for asking a Star Wars question btw.

People People People Your all missing it except one person. Its EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (Episode V). For THREE reasons!!!
1. First of all in Empire we have the first appearance of YODA, and as we all know YODA is the sickest Jedi who ever lived.
2. Luke begins his Jedi training with YODA and starts to learn the ways of the FORCE.
3. Finally and most importantly we find out that DARTH VADER is Lukes FATHER!!! Come on that is drama at its finest.
Empire Strikes back is not only the best STAR WARS of the 6 but is one of the best films ever made.

They are all pieces to a puzzle, but I have a fondess for 6, Return of the Jedi, since it has such a positive ending and after everything else we finally have our conclusion!

The first and second ones were the best, the former because it was so new and the second one because it was so dramatic. In fact, the third one was pretty good, too, especially the climactic scene where Darth and Luke are going mano-a-mano.
The latest three -- you can keep'em.
