It could be good or bad because you gave very limited information about him. I would suggest that you have the good sense to appreciate him he may know how to develop a relationship without relying on brooding love poems, tortured phone calls, inappropriate gifts, lavish entertainment or soulful confessions. 2. He may be the alowing the "relationship" to grow slowly. Or 3. He knows what love is, knows what long term commitment is, and doesn't take either of them lightly. Or maybe he has a problem with commitment. He's never really loved anybody.

Him knowing is good, but i would say by him not responding back, just maybe he doesn't want to ruin a great friendship you both share, because once you go further, you can't really go back to being best friends like you both once were.Or he might not really know how to take it himself, and is shying away for different reasons, like maybe he is dating or trying to date someone else and doesn't know how to respond to you.The cards are on the table, you know, and he knows, just keep being his friend for now and see where it takes you both.Either way,you win,by having him as more or having him to continue being your dear friend.Best Wishes and Good Luck to you both!

Could mean he's shy, but most likely means he hasn't reached that decision yet.
