Goats like to climb and get on things...make them a play area. We just use different sized overturned buckets that we stake to the ground. Some are free standing, others are near each other, staggered in height. It's alot of fun to watch them play. If you have a tree, hang treats (fruits/veggies) down for them from the branches so they have to reach for them.

Most importantly they like company, especially other goats, but any herd animal will do. They also like to browse on a variety of weeds and plants. They do enjoy things to climb on and will play "king of the mountain" with each other. Pygmy goats are very entertaining to watch!

I have a large "igloo" dog house for mine and also a 3 sided shelter. They are fine in both.

i think they are pretty calm, do you mean what kind of habitat or what other kind of goats in with them?
