*huge round of applause for you!*
I agree. This has got to stop before more animals suffer because of their owners wasting time.
Thanks for posting this!
PS, if you don't have 40 bucks to take care of your pet, then don't have one! What if he ends up needing a thousand dollar surgery but you can't even afford an exam fee!
Or, howabout you stop paying for the internet...then you could afford it.
*sorry, had to go there*

If its something small ok. ask away. but if its something seriously wrong then take it to a vet. I agree with the people that say that some dont have money to take it to a vet. One time my pup was reverse sneezing and i was terrified and took him to a vet when it ended up being nothing. use ur own judgement and call a vet and tell them the symptoms and if u should bring them in or not. if they say no... then maybe get some suggestions from here. sound good?

some people are penniless and there are no bones in the cupboard to pay the vet with
Schnitzel-no said it best !!
I had a million dollars so I bought a pet...now the million dollars is in the hands of the vet. The bleeding hearts say that I am not a good pet owner...so will the bleeding hearts give me a loaner...or better yet become the new owner.

Well, I'm one of those people who have posted questions here regarding my dog's health. My dog once had blisters on his belly and I went to the vet and ended up paying hundreds of dollars for him to tell me that the blisters were the equivalent of teenage acne. The reason I ask questions about my dog on yahoo is because maybe someone on here can give me an idea of whether my dog's condition is serious. Of course I'll still take them to the vet if I think it's a serious health condition, but it doesn't hurt to ask other people what they think.

My eyes are playing tricks on me because for a second there I thought you posted this in "Pets", hahaha!~ But, often I change the categorie. Their suggestions are sometimes off the wall to say the least. Of course, they are just reading key words. But out of the few, I usually will pick one of those. Sometimes I will add to my questions, Musically or Spiritually or Poll, so that the question is directly properly. Have a great Sunday.

You know what, a lot of those type of people are posing fake questions just to get a rise out of people. I saw one guy do it with a tragic story about his puppy getting run over and not moving much and not knowing what to do, everyone freaked out and tried to get him to take the dog to the vet. After reading this I read his profile and he posted other fake scenarios like, 'my puppy fell out the car window'. You have to realize there are some morons that will play with you like that on here.

I'd like to vehemently second this motion. Quit asking laypeople on any forum. Get the poor animal to a vet.

Wonderful advice! Agreed, people need to take care of their animals asap, instead of waiting on an answer from an ammiture.

You can suggest it and I agree for the most part, but have you considered that some peole just don't have 40 bucks to do that?

good suggestion...but sometimes people aren't sure if the problem will clear up on its own or if it is serious enough to see the vet about-- those vet bills are expensive!
