We are celebrating the fact, that even people like you, who would squash everything our country stands for regarding free speech, can still speak freely against fellow Americans without being jailed.

Here is how the liberal brain will work:
Independence Day --> Independence = Freedom -->
Independence Day --> 4th of July

Freedom + Supreme Court = Right to Privacy
Right to Privacy + Roe v Wade = Abortion
4th of July --> Drop the "of July" since it is discriminatory to the other months.
Whala! You get:
it is 4th Abortion Day!
No fireworks, no BBQ's, just go kill an unborn child to celebrate.

For wittylildevil: "I thinks it's time for a town hall meeting..."
-I think it has gone to far, and I think that you laying the blame on conservative talk radio is misguided. Their is one reason and one reason only that conservative talk radio is the huge success that it is. That is because it represents the majority thinking of the country. It has helped focus mainstream America to combat the slow destruction of our culture as masterminded by liberals.
For 50 years we have swung far to far left as a country, liberialism is small doses is fine and even a good thing, but in massive doses it is a killer. It destroyed the Roman empire and it will destroy us as well.

For ideogenetic: "We're celebrating that which conservatives and the Bush administration hates - the U.S. Constitution and government by the People!!!"
-So why is it that you liberals HATE it when the people do something you don't approve of? Why is it that when the people, for example vote for Prop. 187 in California, you scream and shout till you get it overturned by a few people in robes in a court.
Why is it that if people of a state, for example vote overwhelmingly to not allow gay marriage, that then suddenly goverment for the people and by the people is not good enuogh for you? Lets face it you are all hypocrites, By the people only works for you when you agree with what the people have done.

By the people, gave us Bush, and your only answer is that the people must be stupid.

I am a moderate (which means I am conservative on some issues, liberal on others, just like most of America who does not paint every issue with one brush) and I am celebrating the fact that this country was established on the principle that all people have a right to their own free will, as expressed in the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of these United States.

God bless and Godspeed.

We're celebrating that which conservatives and the Bush administration hates - the U.S. Constitution and government by the People!!!

You know.... that form of government the Bush administration has been trying to dismantle for 6 years?!

Don't you get it? WE love the Constitution more than you.

After George W. Bush, Independence Day feels likes a sham. A new leader needs to reclaim the glory of independence day for the People.

Down with Republican despotism!

For more just, open, efficient and honest government- never elect Republicans! They don't believe in good government and they prove it to the country time after time.

What are Uspices?
What is the Honorable UN?

And who brainwashed you into thinking we hate America. America, as we were brought up to love, no longer exists. the constitution is becoming an archaic relic. Bush is an ignorant power-hungry deluded miscreant with designs on world domination masquerading as a moral religious man. He is illegitimately in the oval office and even undeserving of the title of our first non-elected president.

If the bush regime is ever usurped, and we return to a more normal day where nobody believes that god specifically wants someone to be president, then our frustration and anger will return to a more normal level and right wing conservative religious zealots could keep their intolerance to themselves.

I thinks it's time for a town hall meeting. We are too divided. We need to find common ground so we can unite as a people again and redefine our goals as Americans. United We Stand and Divided We Fall.
I love Fox News and Conservative radio but since they've come into play our country is becoming more bittlerly divided. We haven't been this divided since the Civil War. Our media has polarized us to the extreme. It seems both Liberals and Conservatives are the sheep being led to the slaughter.

I'm celebrating my independence from you neo-fascist wrong-wing Constitution muggers. You people have no idea what the Constitution stands for. If being a liberal means I can remove the beam from my eye before looking for the dot in another, if being a liberal means I want the troops in Iraq(not Afghanistan)to come home instead of you wrong-wingers leaving them there to die, if being a liberal means that I cannot cast the first stone since I am a sinner myself, and if being a liberal means that even people like you have a right to your opinion because our Constitution gives us freedom of speech, then thank you God Almighty that I'm a liberal. And, thank God for our Constitiution!
