Call-out and microwave meals are about the easiest there are. But if you want something else....
Brown meat (any kind) and put it in a crock pot with tomato sauce, canned tomatoes, a package of instant garlic-flavored mashed potatoes, an onion, some vegetables, basil, oregano, rosemary, and a bay leaf. And a couple of cans of water. Let that simmer during the day, and Vio'la! Dinner!
If you're a bit short on time but still want to cook, try some breakfast things for dinner: Make toast and spinach, fry eggs, and have that. It's pretty tasty.
If you have a steamer/deep fat fryer (I was given one for Christmas), in the bottom put a pinch of salt, a teaspoon of water, a half-cup of rice, and a cup of water. Then in the basket, put your meat (with your seasonings of choice) and some vegetables with a bit of salt and pepper. I still can't get over how fast that cooks! In fact, I have to watch it because it will get to a roiling boil in maybe a minute and a half even at the lowest settings.

Easy as pie chicken wraps. Just grill some chicken breast (or you can buy the already grilled chicken in the lunch meat section) and thin slices of some sweet yellow onion and red bell pepper. If you want to go healthy you can use whole wheat tortilla or if not use the regular kind. Put the chicken and grilled veggies on the tortilla, add some cheese and/or salsa, maybe lettuce and tomatoes and wrap 'em up. Good stand alone food.

For an easy dinner I like to make my own rendition of spanish rice, or paella. I use yellow rice, 1 green pepper, 1 yellow pepper, 4 roma tomatoes, 1 onion, 1 can of sweet corn, and 1 can of peas. First you cut up your veggies and then put them in a pot to simmer. When they are slightly cooked (8-10mins.) pour in the rice with about 2-3 cups of water and just let it cook. It smells so good and it tastes even better. And it only takes 20 mins. Good luck!!

Do yourself a favour - buy a george foreman grill. Cooking on it is so easy and fast. I cook everything from steak to chicken to turkey to fish, you name it. I can cook a steak in about 3 minutes. I just sprinkle both sides with meat tenderizer, garlic powder, onion powder and some black pepper - turn over once. How long you cook it for depends on the thickness of the steak and also how you like it done.
I use it more than anything else, the oven, the stove, etc.

I figure that you want something better than a TV dinner or frozen pizza.
Spaghetti is really easy to make. Boil the strands & meatballs separately for about 10 minutes, drain the meatballs & add a jar of spaghetti sauce to the meatballs, drain the strands, mix it all together, eat!

Buy those rice or pasta instant pkgs. and add a small can of white chicken, ham, or any leftover meat you may have, even lunchment ,after the rice or pasta is ready. It is like a mimi casserole but quicker! Quick, easy and already seasoned and just enough for two or one hungry guy! Add a salad or veggie and you have an easy meal in minutes. I like the cajun rice and beans and put Echrich sausage in it! YUM!

Sloppy Joes, Corn, and a Tossed Salad.
To make my sloppy joes, I brown one lb of hamburger, stir in 1 can of tomato soup, and 1 Tbsp brown sugar. Cook on high until bubbling; then reduce heat and cook for about 15 minutes. Stir often. Excellent flavor! Corn -- I open two cans of corn, add in 1 Tbsp of sugar, 1 Tbsp butter, salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil - then I turn on low for 20-25 minutes, stirring often. Salad -- open a bag of shredded lettuce from the grocery store, cut up tomatoes, add other veggies you like. Top with shredded cheese and croutons.

Heat up the grill or a frying pan and toss on a frozen bubba burger - heat up the broiler or toss onto the grill - a hamburger bun - slice a tomato, some lettuce and a slice of cheese and make yourself a great hamburger - serve with your favorite drink, chips or fries (can be baked in oven or under broiler) and bet you don't stop at one! :)

Open a can of baked beans. Slice in 1 package of hot dogs. A little more work would be to drain the juice from the baked beans and add catsup/ketchup, maple syrup, mustard and worcestershire sauce. Cannot give measurements because I just do it to taste.
