I am sorry. I am going to try daily to love you in the true sense of the word. What is love anyway? It is not being friends with everybody and laughing and joking. It is a very serious thing. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love is gentle. Love is not proud. Love behaves. Love is not selfish nor easily provoked. Love is not evil. Love shares Truth instead of spreading lies. Love bears all. Love believes all. Love endures all. Love is hope for all. God is love. I am not going to hate on you anymore. Yes, you. You will know who I am when you see me. I will be the one saying Good morning to you tomorrow morning with a genuine smile on my face.

I hear what you are saying...incidently i was describing Love to you as it is written in the Bible. 1 Corinthians Chapter 13. Yes. I am a Christian, Black, a woman, been on welfare, got a degree and got back off it, have people under me, have people over me, straight, etc. These are things that people trash on YA. It makes me sad. What if I was White? or Muslim, or extremely intelligent, or a teenager. or a man, or rich, or poor, or gay? Would someone trash me? yes! But maybe, there can be peace in my world, it begins with me. Too deep? I knew you would understand.

Yes, I would also say hello or goodmoring to you. Sometimes people are shy and will not respond and then again there arethose people that ignore and hate you for no reason. But saying hi is not love, it is just kinness and only one aspect of love. Love has to be true like you said. Peope are afraid of what they don't understand. The more they don't know you, the more they will fear and hate you. This is a very true concept and even expressed through movies such as Batman Begins and novels such as A Seperate Peace. Please understand that it is human nature. Maybe someday someone will take the time to get to know someone before they judge them...

I tell myself it's the behavior of the person I hate, and not the person. But we do all get frustrated at times. You see, our perceptions of the world are different- based on our genetics, our environment- and no two of us are alike. Because of that we expect different things from others and from life... and we create our own reality of what is right and what is wrong. When other people are outside our reality or our expectations we get frustrated or mad, and we miscommunicate too often and before you know it, it begins to show. It appears as anger, and can build to hate if we don't consciously catch ourselves. Like I said. I consciously tell myself it's the behavior and not the person I hate. And I try to see that it's OK for them to be different from me. And I try to see where they get their reality from... but it's not always easy. And some people are so removed from humanity and the world around them that they've given up on the trying and that's sad.
