You are first COURT MARTIALLED under the following Articles of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ):

85 (Desertion)
87 (Missing Movement)
92 (Failure to Obey an Order or Regulation)
94 (Mutiny)
134 (General - Bringing Discredit to the (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps) Service AND Failure to Go).

During time of war or declared National Emergency, conviction for violation of Articles 85 (Desertion) and 94 (Mutiny) carry a maximum penalty of DEATH.

Also, ...don't make the mistake of thinking that a conviction by military Courts Martial only applies to the military. Conviction by Courts Martial is a FEDERAL CONVICTION and counts as a FELONY for the REST OF YOUR NATURAL LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You would have to disclose it to EVERY employer you apply to. In some States, your ability to vote is seriously affected. You'd best think twice about refusing to go.

Court Martial....Court Martial!
Not only do you sponge off the government but you also erode morale and cohesion within the military.

Nothing worse than a barracks/sea lawyer.

Court Martial well deserved.

intentionally missing a troop movement is very serious..especially in time of war. my guess would be you would be facing 6x6 and a kick. that's 6 mos confinement @ hard labor and a dishonorable discharge.
