If I download the pdf (which I don't want people to do), then I can not do a save as or print. but I need these option in the browser not in acrobat. Ideally, no one would be able to open in Acrobat because I don't want them to download the file in the first place. What am I doing wrong. I'm using Acrobat Pro 7 and IIS 6 on Win2k3.

forget all that. If you don't want people downloading it in the first place, encrpt it, and tell people it's encrpyted, and noone will touch it. There wouldn't be any point because even if they download it and save it and print it and try to decrypt it, noone can read it except the version seen on the web (because the sever used to publish the page on the web will have the decryption code (if you give it to them and tell them not to give it to anyone else - under federal law it's illegal to give out encryption codes). Now all you need is a good encryption program, which your likely going to have to pay for, but it will GUARANTEE the safety of the data on your personal PC and anything else you want to keep personal while flying around on the web. Good luck.

Ask the community here what they think a good quality encryption program is. I'd suggest nothing less than a 128 bit cypher (256 if your paranoid - 512 is what the US federal government DOD, and the largest banks in the world, use - 1024 bit is what bill gates uses for his personal finances)
