Several - 1. Remove all junk files from your system - that means your Recycle Bin, Internet Cache, junk cookies etc. You can do this though some 3rd party software like System Mechanic or TuneUp Utilities. But these you have to pay for. 2. Check your Registry for useless entries - above programs do it. If you want a free program, check out RegSeeker - www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm. If you are unable to get to this link, do a search for RegSeeker 3. Defrag your Hard Disk. 4. Defrag your Registry too - here's a freeware that does a very good job. It's called NTRegOpt, and is available at www.snapfiles.com/get/ntregopt.html. If you are unable to use this link, search for NTRegOpt, you ought to find it.

Click on Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Disk Cleanup. This will clear up space by deleting temporary internet files and such. It will also allow you to sort through unwanted programs that you have on your PC. Clearing this space will hopefully speed up your computer.
