I believe both exist. The devil believes there is a God and fears and trembles at the name of Jesus.

I believe ther is something bigger out there. If it is god then i think it is also the devil. Nowhere does it say what god does is good, just that it is right. If this is so then god must be doing the evil as well, even if it is right, this makes god the biggest monster of all in a way.

The devil is simply the absence of God. Satan means, 'The deceiver', put in actionable terms; your motivations and desires that are for self, which lure you, or deceive you into thinking that they are the best for you (rather than a loving selfless God like action) are labelled the work of the devil.

Christian's tend to think of this a spiritual warfare for the hearts, minds, and souls between God and the Devil.

I think it self seeking is simply a survival instinct, we see it in children all the time. As adults, we have access to God from within through our higher selves.

I don't believe in the devil.

It would be dangerous to believe in God and not the devil. That nonsense could get people to think that God is always loving, and everyone goes to heaven and everything is okay. That is not the case. Removing Satan from religion would negate the need for a Savior.

You are correct. Both exist. However, I only worship God and resist the devil because the devil is a liar.

To not believe in the devil means that you can't believe in God either. You can believe in something and not worship it - there's a difference.

Believing in God is different from believing that the devil exist. Believing in God means we believe that God is our Heavenly Father who created us and sent His beloved Son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our salvation. We love and worship Him. We believe in His love, His grace, His mercy and His power.

The devil exists but we don't believe in him. He has been defeated when Christ died on the cross for our sins. He just go about scaring people - he goes about like a roaring lion, that's all.

There are many demons, I don't think you can believe in the devil without beleiving in God.

Mona the Bible says so.

God is good.

The Devil seeks to lie, kill and destroy, he's not doing you any favors.
