My Mother-In-Law tried getting fresh with me under the table/?

I'm 99% sure it was her trying to rub with balls with her feet. My wife was talking to her dad and her mom had a smile on her face and was winking at me. What the **** should I do?

Talk to your wife first and make sure that it wasn't her. Just because she was talking, and if it was her, she still could have done it. Think about where your wife was sitting from you and are her legs long enough to reach you lap. If your wife didn't do it, then you need to confront your mom-in-law in private and let her know that you are not interested and not to do anything like that again. If she does, then tell your wife and get her opinion on what to do next.

Take her aside, tell her you do not appreciate what she has done. Should she do it again you will address this at the time regardless who is in the room. Sit only next to your wife and someone other than your mother in law.
If she deliberately did make a move like that she will do something again. Suggestion move as far away from her as you can.

When she smiles and winks at her, you should respond with your own body language, horrified, frowning, angry!
Don't sit next to her anymore. If she does it again, tell her to stop very firmly. Don't grin and say "Stop that." cause that's like playing. She might never do it again. She might be horrified she did it once, so it doesn't need to be addressed, but if anything like that happens again, be firm, keep your face stern and if she pushes it, let the rest of the family know what's going on before she turns it back on you!

Pitch the table over and make a scene...coexisting with it quietly makes you a lowlife-especially if you're taking a pride in it(like posting it as a braggadocio)...if you love your wife you need to either 1)let her know her mom is a sick puppy...or 2)at the beginning of the incident cause such a scene-that she will in no way feel like she can pursue such a course of action..
As she is a lost sick soul-as evident in wanting to rival her daughter in paramours...perhaps cancer will devour her before she can further degrade collective society...

Confront her yourself. If you do it with your wife, the mom will just deny it ever happened and then your wife will wonder whether you're fantasizing about her mom.

If your wife has a good relationship with her mom, don't tell her what happened - it will ruin that relationship.

If the mom doesn't stop, you should tell your wife's dad.

I had a very similar situation. My ex mother in law would become very fresh when drinking. At one point I was sitting at the Thankgiving Dinner Table and she had one to many Gins and proceded to rub my chest from behind .... my wife was seated directly across from me and witnessed the whole incident. This was just the tip of the ice berg.

My ex had made serveral flirtatous attempts at me and I was starting to think that I was just imagining things. Always rubbing my back, extra long hugs, wanting to kiss me on the lips instead of the cheek. Laying out at the pool in a very revealing bathing suit ... and it only got worse. Helping her out at a building (she was into property realestate) and wearing a very revealing blouse and short skirt. She had two bottles of wine, drank one herself and the chase was on.

I had brought it to my wifes attention (only after bringing it up to my pastor) and my wife was not very receptive. You have to be very careful when bringing this up. The thanksgiving incident (to me) I thought would bring everything to light with her but it only drove a wedge inbetween us. My wife thought that I was instigating the actions of her mother. To this day my wife and I are divorced and I am sure that this played a big part in our demise.

Its a tough one to encounter, bring it to your wifes attention immediately and don't hesitate. Be alittle evasive thought ... "honey, I think but I'm not sure but I think this was happening ... was it you?".

Accusing can be fatel so be careful .... and from this point on ... don't be alone with your mother in law. In this day and age .... anything is possible. Where do you think they get movie ideas from ... real life.

Eww!Gross!Hot or not stay away from all that . If it happens again tell her to back off. If it's a one-off incident I wouldn't bring it up again. I wouldn't mention it to your wife unless it becomes a real problem. You could end up causing some serious trouble if you don't handle the situation properly.

let it slide just in case you were wrong. But if she does it again - you have to say something right there and tehn - outloud in front of everyone and just flat out embarrass her - I mean like "Hey are you rubbing your foot on me on purpose?" or "Are you flirting with me?" and she will not only never do it again but it can never be twisted around (this happened to a friend of mine)

When this happens again, and it will, jump from your seat and act surprised and scared and say " what the **** just touched my balls?, what is that?".... make sure everyone hears you and sees you have that reaction to it.
