This guy is my best friends friend and we met at the delmar fair!he had just asked this other girl out the day b4 we met and he said he would break up with her after a week to go out with me! i dont know if i should feel guilty or not!?what do i do?

Why is he telling you that he will break up with her to go with you??
Is it because you are That Good??
Or is it because he is done with her??
As for your Q, I dont think you should feel guilty, If any, I think you should prod a little more. Take it cool.
For all you know, he can and will do the same to you too, if Britney Spears walks by.
Talk to her.
Then talk to him. ( in this order ) because then you will know her point of view, which is more important.
He sounds like he has a very interesting interpretation of love and relationships.

I've got a question for you. Has the week passed and did he break up with the other girl like he said he would? If the answer is yes then you should feel no guilt but if he has not then you've got yourself a problem.

He just asked the other girl out the day before, so I'm sure they aren't that involved or engaged yet. He knows you as well as he knows her. There is no commitment there between them, not after one day.
Now if he is wanting to wait a week, so he can get into her pants, then he's a jerk, and you don't want him anyway.

Naaa.. They obviously werent too serious after a week. If he'd rather be with you.. then good luck. Relationships are like shoes. You just keep shopping till you find the right pair that fit perfectly. And if you find that they dont match anything in your closet.. toss them out.. someone is bound to walk by and pick them up!

what if he's telling this girl the same thing??he might be a player..he would break up with her right away if he was serious, but how can he be serious if you guys only just met...... maybe he wants to see this girl a bit longer to see which of you he likes better..sorry.. but i wouldn't get my hopes up.just go with it, and if it's meant to be , don't feel guilty, it happens. You should only feel guilty if you knew he had a gf and flirted with him anyways.

Wow, what a deep and meaningful relationship he must have with this girl. So he's shallow and loses interest in a girl easily. Nothing for you to feel bad about.

what did you do to feel guilty about i mean you didnt know he had another girl before this did you? if you like this guy then go out with him..he hasnt dated the other girl yet..and it isnt like you are taking her off any one because realy they aint together and he cant think that much of her if he is willing to go out with you..so go ahead have fun.
