The only unemployed people that get counted when they tell you the unemployment rate are those receiving unemployment benefits. If your benefits have run out, YOU ARE NO LONGER COUNTED as unemployed. I'm looking for a ratio here. Its important to state which catagory you fall into.

Unemployed and NOT. They told me to check in again in July.

If your benefits have run out, you are not longest in their list, so they can not count you anymore.
