Just get a pan, put a drop of olive oil in there. When the pan is hot, brown both sides of the steak. Takes five minutes at the most. It must be the last thing you cook of the meal.

Cooking Tips for Steaks:
My suggestion is to thaw the steaks first, although they can be cooked frozen. If cooking frozen, allow almost twice the time. For best results, use tongs when turning steaks, forks will pierce the meat, allowing juices to escape. Remember steaks will continue to cook a little after removing them from the grill or oven.
When cooking steaks follow the chart below:
Type of Steak Thickness Rare Medium
Filet Mignon 1-¼” to 1-½” 8-10 minutes 10-12 minutes
New York Strip 1- 1 ¼ ” 8-10 minutes 10-12 minutes
Ribeye 1- 1 ¼ ” 8-10 minutes 10-12 minutes
Porterhouse 1- 1 ¼ ” 8-10 minutes 10-12 minutes
Top Sirloin 1- 1 ¼” 8-10 minutes 10-12 minutes
Cooking times are in total minutes. When cooking steaks, turn once.
To check the meat for doneness you can do the following touch test. Rare will be soft and spongy; medium will have a springy feel; and well done will be firm.
Note: These times are for cooking with electric, for cooking with gas increase the cooking time slightly. Preheat broiler, place on rack approximately 4” from heat.

The frying steaks are really thin, they don't take 5 mins! Less than that, its hard to get frying steak med-rare as they are so thin. I suggest you deglaze the pan you do them in with some red wine (turn up the heat after you have finished cooking the steak and scrape off the burnt bits from the pan with a wooden spoon) throw in some garlic, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, black pepper and lastly a dash of cream, to make alovely sauce/gravy. Let it reduce down to half the amount of liquid. Frying steak can be dry, that's why I suggested this!

Grill them on a medium heat for about 20 minutes, turning them occasionally. It's better that frying them because you get the flavour of the meat not oil.
Place on plate, pour some pepper sauce over them and serve with baby boiled potatoes and salad.
