An afro is a hair style that was worn in the 70s& maybe 80s that mostly black folks wore during the disco time. Your hair wouid look big amd puffy The reason whites didn't wear it cause their hair is too straight.every now and again you can see a person wearing one. to see one go to yahoo.com and search afro on images

Tight curly hair, a 70's hair style. The best example I know with an Afro hair style is Leo Sayer ( UK pop star with hits like I got Thunder in my Heart)

an Afro is a hair style that African American people wore during the 70's and 80's. they would pic there hair out and it would stick up evenly through out the whole head my grandma used to have one and she would put vinegar in her hair to make an Afro since she had curly hair
