It's all up to you. There are ALWAYS going to be critical and judgmental people no matter how you look. Just make up your mind that if anybody does say anything, you're not going to let it ruin your vacation. If someone does say something inappropriate or rude, you just have to learn to let it slide off your back. I know.. I know... it is easier said than done. But it takes practice and a lot of patience to learn to not care what others may say. And besides, most people are more likely to take notice of your attitude than your looks. If you give off an attitude that is insecure and apprehensive, then people will take advantage of that, but if you come off as confident and happy, then people won't care how you look. Trust me. Good luck!

Hi. I used to weigh 300 pounds before. I used to worry alot about what I would look like going to the beach also. I didn't wear any bathing suit, but when I went to the beach and saw all of these people having fun. I just stopped worrying about everything. I began a walking regime and lost weight. I didn't diet. I just walked. The best thing about life is not to worry about what other people will think of you. Live life and be happy. I learned the hard way. It's not nice to feel bad about yourself. You have to love yourself. Keep walking around and you will lose weight. Enjoy your vacation.

Your body is only something to hold your head up so don't dwell so much about what others may or may not think. I doubt they will be to worried how you look they will just be happy to be spending some time with you I'm pretty sure. Don't let a couple of extra pds keep you from having a good time. After all these are your family and friends and we all like to pick on each other most of the time. Even if they do comment I hope you will not take it to heart Your going to have a good time keep your head up and smile thats what your going for.

Blend in and wear what makes you feel comfortable and carry on.
Don't let your mind get carried away with the extra weight as you will be the only one stuck on it. People might notice at first but then they are on to their next thoughts. They won't think about it as much as you will. Give yourself a break and enjoy the day.

get a new outfit/ bathing suit... look as good as you possibly can. if you start a diet/ exercise plan now... you just might feel good enough to strut your stuf. sure you aren't gonna see a HUGE difference, but you may feel a whole lot better. (it is amazing how good you will feel) and really that is what is important. if you are confidant and feel good, why would you family look down at you? they outta be proud! oh yea and drink plenty water/ stay away from salt! this will lower water wieght, and will also make a big difference!

Then wear a tankini. Everyone is self-conscious in a bikini no matter what they tell you. So it's worse if you are already uncomfortable without it. And make sure you always hang out on the beach with someone. It doesn't matter if it's your brother, people are always more comfortable when they are with people that love them.
