See your gyne!
I haven't had a period in almost a year. I have a condition called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). It's a hormonal problem that causes my ovaries to not properly "pop" eggs out. Some symptoms of PCOS include excess body hair, mood swings, thinning hair on head, overweight, underweight, no/very little periods, bad acne or other skin problems, depression, migraines, and Type II Diabetes. PCOS is a genetic disorder.
Because of the PCOS, my husband and I are struggling with infertility issues. We want children so badly, but I am unable to conceive. Had I been diagnosed earlier, I could've been able to avert some of the monotony of attempting to conceive.
Bottom line, see your gynecologist.

Possibly nothing. Periods can be unpredictable. Changes in your lifestyle can affect their frequency. For example, some athletes lose their periods due the increase of their muscle mass. I suggest talking to your doctor about it. Also remember that sometimes a person can get a false negative on their pregnancy tests. So I'd talk to my doctor if I could and look at my lifestyle for possible reasons like stress, excercise, etc.

You should call you gyn ASAP. You could be preg but it is not picking up with the test (I had a friend that was only able to get a positive test by doing the blood test...every urine test always came back neg.)
Or you could have a cyst on your ovaries. My sister had this and I know she went for 4 months without a period before she went to the doctors. They put her on birthcontrol and it shrunk on it's own. Good luck but whatever you do call your doctor and tell them whats going on!

How old are you? It's common to have irregular periods well into your 20s, even 30s. Have you recently gotten off of birth control? This causes irregularity too. Also, sudden weight loss, weight gain, stress, and diet can interfere with your cycle.

It is hard to say. The test could be wrong. Did you get really skinny? That could make your period go away. You need to go to the doctor.

I did the same thing. In my case, it was an ovarian cyst, but my ob/gyn had to find it. Neither the exam nor the cyst itself were painful & it usually clears up on its own, but definately see your doctor.
