check out underground power metal like Rhapsody, Opera IX. or speed metal like Slayer. Or try Death Metal like Cradle of Filth, Gorgoroth, or Ackercocke. Classics like Don Ho singing Hawaiin hits is also cool. Stay away from Emo that crap is about guys crying about what i don't know. Why do they gotta cry? they should talk more about steak!

Check out the Beatles. Im not talking about the I wanna hold your hand stuff. Check out Sgt. Peppers and the White Album. Great stuff there.
