I'm in two minds about Dr Who anyway. I wasn't a big fan when it used to be on, but now I'm not sure.

I don't actually like Billie Piper in Dr Who. I don't think she can act that well and don't understand how she got the part. David Tennant is a passable Dr though (but I'm biased because I fancy the pants off him).

As for a replacement for Billie Piper, I think Tamzin Ouithwaite would be a good choice, but don't think its really her cup of tea.

I dont think that anything has been decided for definate on whether Rose will come back but I just watched doctor who confidential and Billie Piper sort of hinted that some time in the future - maybe not next series but perhaps the one after that, the writers may consider puting the character of Rose back into a storyline. I would really like her to come back though, just to see how she's getting on with her new doctor. I agree with you that it's really sad that she'll never see the true doctor that she fell in love with again (or so she thinks). I was nearly crying!

All the Doctor's companions eventually go - but please let's let Billie stay a while. She's been a great companion so far these 2 years, and taking the position deeper and made the stories more challenging...

Stay Billie STAY!

(and if you're only watching her first Series on SciFi - they hang on - she's even more "FANTASTIC" in series 2... see clips of Series 2 episodes on the BBC website...

The whole series should go not just Billie Piper but it must have something if so many people watch it but I cant see what.

Not really sure. She has done a good job as his companion. She was not one to just go and scream then run. But then the companions come and go. Hopefully the next one will be good.

Hate being behind in these things as I live in the US.

I like her, but I don't think she can stay, even if she suddenly decides she wants to. Note the "lost girl who will die in battle" comment in the devil episode. If she's not enjoying it, or wants to try somthing else, then good on her for trying new directions.

I think she should make up her own mind. If she thinks she has played the part for long enough & wants a change then good luck to her.
