I highly doubt it they are not like a gothic group and none of their songs lead me to believe that. I think it's kind of ridiculous.

Well theres been sum rumors goin round that Three 6 Mafia worships the devil and that the song "Stay Fly" says the word "Lucifer" in it and such, so I thought Id set the record straight for all you ignorant people out there.
And by the way, if anyone had done the research, the number "666" does not have anythang to do with worshiping the the devil....it has to do with "The Mark of the Beast" and "evil" in general...

DOES THREE 6 MAFIA WORSHIP THE DEVIL!
A lot of people have been hitting me up and asking me, Hey, do the Three 6 Mafia worship the devil? Aside from the obvious name, these new rumors are based on the hook of Stay Fly, where people say they singer says, You are god, you are king, LUCIFER." I dont know what that says, but it sounds African to me and thats a positive thing. If you heard or them on the Academy Awards last night, you would know the answer. Click here and read up on what Juicy J uttered as the crew won their Oscar! It should dead all the rumors when you see who he thanked!

I AM NO A DEVIL WORSHIPPER
But I like Three Six Mafia and I am proud to say that a few people got to the bottom of this. The song in question, "Stay Fly," features a sample of "Tell Me Why Our Love Gone Cold." The late Mr. Willie Hutch, who is the father of Cold 187 of Above The Law, originally did this song. Anyway,
there you go.

Representing Memphis, TN, the group's six core members -- Crunchy Black, Gangsta Boo, Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca, Juicy "J," and DJ Paul -- give the group its dark image, vividly rapping about drug use, violent aggression, pornographic sex, and anything else remotely evil.

AllHipHop.com: Speaking of praying theres been a lot of new talk about Three 6 Mafias so-called devil worship. Do you care to address that at all?
Juicy J: Man, we aint no devil worshippers, I mean how can you win an Oscar being a devil worshiper? I mean you know you probably win, win like a firecracker or something if you was a devil worshiper. You wont win an Oscar. So I mean there aint nothing but God in me. Thats a blessing.
DJ Paul: We got so many blessings, weve been doing this for 16 years. Making a arrangement though [the devil] - no way.
Juicy J: No you cant worship the devil and get that kind of blessing, man. I mean everybody know that.

Three 6 Mafia have been on a role since winning the Oscar for Best Original Song for "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from the movie Hustle & Flow. The group will be honored in Memphis Saturday (April 1) as a part of the city's Three 6 Mafia Day.

The name "Three 6 Mafia" comes from the dark, eerie sound, and their rap style when they started rapping as "Triple Six Mafia" back in 1991. It does not reflect their religious views or devil worship of any kind.

the answer is an recommendations-blowing NO!! Jordan Beauragard AKA Juicy J is the son of an ordained minister in Memphis and they actually have very deep rooted Christian Believes......the clarification for the call 3 Six Mafia is at the same time as they all began J's father would whinge that they were makin the devil's music and they determined it should be a good gimmick to get their music available. It also did not help that a lot of there early music became screwed and chopped and sounded very distorted as if u were listening to a tape performed backwards.........

36 Mafia is a name that is "Hard" on the street. They got noticed being hard on the street. Rap music is a release of what people see and deal with in their lives. Does anyone know what its like in the Projects in a real dangerous neighborhood? There is only evil on the streets. A 80 yr old man cannot walk down the street without getting hit over the head for his wallet or young boys hustling drugs everyday, all night. People need to realize common sence. If i worshiped satan then wouldnt i make songs all about it? Why put a word or two here and there? People rap about **** they see and deal with. If i grew up in the suburbs then id sing rock and roll or heavy metal. Nothing is nice and easy in the hood so i cant rap about good ****. I listen to 36 for over 10 yrs. I am a christian and belive in Jesus Christ as my personal lord and savior. ROMANS 6-23, DJ Paul put that in one of three six's older songs but nobody talks about that! Look up Romans 6-23, No man is perfect, if you say you have no sin, you deceve yourself, all fall short of glory of God (Jesus Christ). Listen to more than one song people. Horror movies act **** out on screen and sell so WTF? Rick Ross raps about being a christian and sells tons of coke in the hub of Miami to distribute to America. No not one man is perfect. Accepting christ as savior is most important. Get it how you live bro. I was born here, salvation through christ it trump over ANY sin.

I believe that they do because for one, i didnt even like the song "gotta stay fly". i thought it was one of the dumbest songs created and some reason i started liking it for nothing. when you screw and chopp this song you can hear the voice in the background saying "Lucifer you're my God, my Lord" and thats crap!!!How you go say that you ain't got nothing but God in you and the name of your group is "3 6 Mafia"??? Why you couldnt be called "36 Mafia". So that what all ya'll talking is bull and you going straight to hell right with ya'll "LORD".

They probably sing about the devil, but doesn't worship it.
Or they could probably sing about the devil, and worship the devil.

Thats my only ******* answer........ in big bold letters it says thank Jesus Christ. It shouldnt matter to us though. People attacking this song reminds me of why i stopped being a Christian. No offense to the cool Christians out there but some of you guys are really gaying it up.

I couldn't/wouldn't sing of the Devil, no matter how much money was involved. I don't believe they are Christians. The group is talking out one side of their mouth. They've been pulled aside by the record company, and told to cool it, so now they're engaging in "happy talk". They've already put themselves out there, and now they're trying to reel it in. Too late. The truth is right in front of everyone's face. Don't be obtuse.
