Piper is absolutely correct about "The Quest" and "Return of the Valkyrie." Gabrielle kissed Xena on the cheek (much to the latter's annoyance) at the end of the second-season episode "A Day in the Life." I don't count Gabrielle transferring magical water from her mouth to Xena's in the last episode of the series as a kiss.
Whether or not you think the characters were lesbians (I don't, and the series never said they were, despite the wishful thinking of some fans), the two were indeed very close, and their relationship grew over the course of the series.

They did. First time was in the season 2 episode "The Quest." Some tricky camera maneuvers and Gabrielle goes from kissing Xena to Xena in Autolycus' body. In season 6, they had the whole story of Gabrielle and Xena being soul mates, so they were very close in that season. Also, in the season 6 episode "Return of the Valkyrie," Xena awakes Gabrielle from her enchanted slumber with a kiss. The two actresses are still friends.

Ron wasn't gay. He ended up with Kim. I don't think anytime in the near future. I'm not against gay marriage or people who are gay, but it's too mature a subject. Children grow up with the idea that there's a mommy and a daddy and the kids. To introduce something that's as complex as sexual orientation and what that entails to the group of children that watches those disney Princess and Prince movies would be sort of ridiculous. They don't need to be trying to figure out why there are two princes kissing. Kudos to the ones that do though!

i remember that show. i never really cared for it, it kinda bugged me that they just made up some character and introduced her into ideas of classic greek mythology. doesnt seem right.
anywyay, i dont know if they kissed or not, but i do remember thinking the evil crazy blond chick that hated xena was way hotter than anyone else on the show. lol.
