me and my husband had sex during mid days of my cycle.and since last thursday i was ecpecting my periods sofar nothing. also i spotted little brownish 8 days back.it was very little.and my nipple and breast are very tender to touch, paining. am i pregnant?when can i take an accurate pregnancy test?

Funny, you can go to the Dollar store sometimes and get one for $1.00 instead of $8 a piece.

There are great, accurate, pregnancy tests that will tell you if you are pregnant the first day you miss your period. Just go to a pharmacy. If it is positive, be sure to make an immediate appointment to confirm the pregnancy and ensure there is nothing wrong with the young fetus. If it is negative, wait another 2-3 days and do it again.

since your period is three days late, go to the drug store to purchase a "first response test".. read the box just to make sure, it should give you an accurate reading one week before you are expecting your period. Since you are 3 days late, the test will let you know whether or not you are pregnant. Sometimes when you are expecting your period you experience tenderness and spotting... but go ahead and take the test now...

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths

You should take a home pregnancy test or go to the doctor and let them take urine or blood to find out. Somr home test you take are early response test, meaning after you've missed your period you can take it and it will give you an accurate reading. GOOD LUCK!!

You can test right now and it will be accurate. I took one actually 2 days before my period was late and on a dollar store test. The catch...Im due next week! Good luck!

Well you might not be pregnant, your periods are only 3 days late, and sensitive breasts and nipples are also part of PMS...maybe you underwent stress that affected your cycle a bit...
But the only way to know for sure is to see a doctor.

You can go to your doctor and get them to send you for a blood test which will for sure tell you if you are pregnant at this early point. Another 2 weeks I'd wait before trying a urine test.
