being depressed is a mind game... like being drunk or high!

When being depressed, it'll have you stuck on stupid. Whenever you have a problem or stress...thats a call for action. Try as hard as you can to analyze the problem and find a solution. This may take collecting resources to achieve things. If you ever had a day of school in ya life, then you know what homework is. Now forget them goofy teachers and work for yaself. You will feel good achieving after applying this over time. It take KNOWLEDGE and RELIGION to get out of depression. Thats school and God, we can never stop getting these things. Make life fun and see positive in everything and when negativity comes turn it into humor or something. Exercise the stress off too, as good health makes ya feel good about yaself and life. Take it easy and if ya need some help, im the coolest shrink ya gonna meet. lol God Bless

Since my early teens - I am now 32.

Depression is an illness, a chemical imbalance in the brain. It is not a state of mind that you can just change any time you want. Anyone who believes so is just ignorant of the facts and can do real harm to those who are suffering by putting them down and giving them faulty advice. See a Doctor and a Therapist. Do what they tell you to do and your life will improve.
