You are Black because you have a high amount of melanin in your skin, its hereditary and is a factor about yourself that you simply can't change. Ignore the people who put you down because you have a sense of individuality and don't play into the stereotypes, be the person you want to be, listen to what you want to listen to, you are allowed to have a personal preference. Your hobbies and interests shouldn't be dictated by your race, or by anybody else. When a person says you are not being 'Black Enough' they mean that you are not falling into the ridiculous stereotypes that over the years have developed and have caused some people to believe that black people should behave in a certain way, its the same with any race when it comes to stereotypes. You are different because you are unique. You are an individual with a personalty Your race can not dictate the person that you are, it is simply a color.. Just be you, its the best that you can do.
