I always wake up before impact, so I dont know what happens when you do actually hit the ground.

Dreams are like a movie for your brain. But it takes stuff from real life, (like maybe you're nervous about a big test) and it digs at you thru the dream. The reason your heart was pacing do fast, and that you sometimes sweat is because you were scared. You will probably never hit the ground however, that is a common thing in dreams. The way to stop the dream is to do what ever you are nervous about. (take yer test for example). You could also be nervous about something you don't know about, like something from the past. So your brain is trying to tell you thru the dream. Get it? if not send me an email at Brezzia_18@yahoo.com :)

I can say that i honestly have dreamt falling from something high.
When I was younger I dreamed that I was falling int a really big pool. When I work up I was falling face first into the bath tub
Another dream similiar to this was a really really weird dream. I dreamt that I was living with my mother and she had like 5 horses and she kept them all in the top story of a 10 story house...but I had to live in that story too. And one day one of the horses pushed me out over the ledge (there were no walls). I fell all 10 stories and landed in a huge pile of hay, which saved my live...
I've fallen over ledges before in dreams and got caught up in swift waters.
I have crazy dreams. I don't really wake up with sweats and all that stuff. Falling doesn't scare me. What scares me the most is dreaming about snakes. I don't know why this scares me so much. When awake they don't scare me. I can handle snakes just fine when I'm awake.
But when I'm asleep I tend to dream that they are poisonious. I wake up thinking that the bed and the floor is covered in them. I can't move...scary.

I once had a dream where I was flying over a field and before I got halfway over the field I fell to the ground, in the dream I felt muscle spasms where I had curled myself up for the pending impact, once I hit the ground the dream would replay itself from the start. Your body is acting out the dream, as the brain is telling the body that this is actually happening to you.
This is what I reckon anyway

I have thought about this before because people say that you will die if you hit the ground. A couple of nights later I had the falling dream. I hit the ground with a thud and dust came up. I looked around and got up. I am still here to tell about it.

i've actually had a dream where I was falling and I didn't quite land on the ground, but I landed on top of a car engine where the hood was up. It was quite a thud (and a rude awakening). Does that count?
