Why do they block out the Subway logo in Happy Gilmore when shown on Television?

On television, they are not allowed to show copyrighted material, without permission. It is different in the film, because they had permission to use the Subway logo, but the television station didn't.

Don't know,for sure,but,maybe it's because
Subway didn't help sponsor the movie.
