I have friend that stay there and I have been invited, so I have a free place to stay and I'm gonna be taken care of when I get there, so alls I'm worried about is plane fare. On the date that I want to go the fare is only $1006 and I don't have it....

Just for my own curiosity. As much as I would like to think I am completely open minded, we all have a stereotype in mind when we think of a certain city or place and the people that live there. Just curious to see what the general consensus is regarding melbourne from people who live elsewhere. Also, when stating your opinion, have you actually visited melbs or is your opinion 2nd or 3rd hand.

Hi,

I want to work in Australia. However, i do not know what's the best way for me to get a job there.... i am trying to gain more information by veting through Australia Immigration website... besides, can someone please share with me your experience or tell me if you know something about it...

My friend has recommend a few ways for me to get a job there.....
1) Fly there and stay for months for interview...
2) Get myself a PR there (which is not so easy as i am not a Australia Uni Grad...)
3) Get myself a holiday work permit.. then seek for employment during my stay in Australia...
4) Further my study to master degree in Australia Uni... it will be easier for me to get a job upon completion of the course...

I am a Malaysian with UK Bsc Degree in Accounting... can someone please tell me more?? thanks...

Hello to whoever you are
My name is Jo and I will be moving to perth at the end of october this year, from outback Queensland.
I have never been to perth before and I don't know anyone over there.
I need your help on the following:
- What are some good suberbs to live in (renting)
- Where are the best places to meet people (I think I may be a bit lonely)
- Shopping; furniture, electrical, good LCD TV's etc.
- NIce motel to stay in close to the city.

I think that is all I needed to ask. Thank you in advance for your help.
