Could I apply for a defacto spouse visa to temporarily stay in Australia? My partner has got a job in Australia and I'd like to go there with him. How could I apply for a visa as a dependent?

My husband and I are thinking of moving to Sydney, Australia. We have a 2 year old son and would want to live in a family friendly suburb of Sydney. What are some safe family friendly suburbs of Sydney? We would also prefer to rent a fully furnished flat or house. How much does rent go for in Sydney?

with my 3 children who will then be 16, 15 and 9. i will be traqvelling alone with them and am wanting to know the cheapest and safest way to travel round australia. i want to take them to brisbane, cairns and ayres rock and maybe do some of the outback as well... being female i am wondering is it safe to hire a campervan (or buy one) and drive round as i am worried that i will be an easy target for all the dicks.... any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks :)

Does anyone know of a reasonable priced furnished room or apartment that is in Richmond or not more than half and hours drive away from Richmond to stay?

I have to return by myself to Australia without husband and our property not vacant yet for at least a month.

Need someone safe and clean to stay, dont mind sharing bathroom but not room. Definately not to expensive!

My boyfriend and I are seriously thinking of emigrating to Australia for a better way of life. We are sick of the weather in UK and way our country is going downhill, especially with the NED culture. The problem is we do not know the best place to go. Australia is huge!
Can anyone advise me on this? I would like to be in the sun, near a beach, obviously. Being able to get work is essential, therefore we can't be too far out in the sticks. Roofing is my partners trade. Would want to be somewhere relaxing but still have lots of available things to do. Any ideas?
