Mr. Blatter was missing in the last two final games of the Worldcup even during the Medal-Presentation. Is this a sign?

I know everyone is thinking about Zidane`s headbutt and wether Italy diserves the cup, but on the side allot of other things happened too..

Zidane's furious French team-mate William Gallas raged at Materazzi's provocation. "When I see this, I want to smash his face. Sometimes you have players who are clever and say something to you and you are very angry and want to kill that player."

I hope the FFF is going to sanction him, or I fell authorised to headbutt his chest!

For those of you who read French, check this out :
http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20060709/CPACTUALITES/607091245/5026/CPDMINUTE

This is a quote of one of the ministers (Roberto Calderoli) of the exiting fascist Italian Government.
The traduction is :
"The victory in Berlin is a victory on our Identity, of a team who was made of Lombards, Napolitans,Vénitians and Calabrais who won against a team who abandonned their identity by puting in their team Blacks, Islamists and communists to obtain results"

Their major clubs are going town to 2nd and 3rd division starting now, more than half of the players of the team has problems with the justice, they like to do the nazis sign for their fans when they score...
"Forza Italia" is also the name of their fascist party...brrr
What do you think of that?

why all the people believe that materazzi did insult n called zidane 'terrorist, muslim slur...etc"? . it was all from what zidane told the media and other people's assumption. materazzi did deny it. is there any prove that materazzi DID say those words? if this only about how people believe in zidane then it's gonna be unfair to materazzi. unless there is an evidence. zidane should be glad that people trust him.

Till the Zidane-Materazzi incident, the ref still made name by sending off such great player...

Materazzi says he did not call Zidane a terrorist, that he is not cultured and doesn't even know what an Islamic terrorist is. I know soccer players aren't known for their intellect but GIVE ME A BREAK!!! Not only is he lying, or maybe is it humor?, but it is just humiliating for soccer players!

Amongst the World Cups that you have followed, which one was the most exciting ever - in your opinion?

The French are making several excuses and accusations (saying there was a racial slur) where there was none. And they are also saying they deserved the cup and the ref stole it. But do you guys think the PK awarded early in the game was well deserved? Just your thoughts, no reason for insults. If you think it is great and if you dont think so that is great too.

I'm sorry, I just don't believe the guy. I don't believe Metarazzi said what he is saying he did!

I'm sure he said something, but I think Zidane was frustrated knowing he was just about to lose that cup!! :p

There are so many allegations going around, people who have no clue what was said insinuating and spreading rumours to make themselves feel better. Maybe those people insulting Materazzi need a good headbutting too...I'm sure they'll agree right?! Afterall, it was ok for Zidane to do it.
