This is assuming an average of a 180cc engine (medium-type bike). Also, it might depend on how long an average rider might stay out on the trails (3 hours?).

Thanks

I am planning a week-long trip with my brother who lives in Cali (I am in Virginia)- the plan is to head north out of SF across the GG Bridge. Is it legal to bike on US-101 once you get over the bridge? Or should I look for another route to get up to Rt. 37 in Novato?

Thanks!

Bicycle racers such as lance armstrong would often intentionally ride behind another racer. This is called Drafting.

Why would drafting be a good strategy in a bicycle racing?

I just took my mountain bike in for a tune up. Its in decent shape but has been sitting in the garage for a while. They quoted me $75 plus labor, which doesnt make sense to me. Just curious if I am getting ripped off. Thanks

I got this Raliegh Legend bike from someone that owed me some money. The bike seems to be in good condition, I think that it is a girls bike because of the height and color(purple). I have no clue what it may be worth, but i would like to put an ad in the paper, and try to sell it. Any tips would be helpful, thanks. It also says Shimano Alivio on the bar near the seat.

I'm riding a bike i got from the tip. it is an old steel bike. It goes fine, and i've had no troubles with it. i have a route around a lake i like to ride, 20k's. i'd like to begin riding either longer, more often, or both. These new bikes look great, and are very light. Should i care? would it make any noticeable difference? Also, what about the cicyle clothes i see everyone wearing. Are they showing off, or is there an actual advantage?
