Shimano Altus (or something like that).

Kenda Krusher wheels- should i use these for pavement?, they look more like mountain tires.

I'm looking at used bike ads on the internet and need to ask the right questions and don't want to waste time. For a person my size what would be appropriate? Looking forward to your answer.
Thanks.

I am looking to purchase a recumbent trike. I have a Sun delta, but would prefer a tadpole. I am a casual rider, and am looking for a trike in the $1500 range.

I am mostly interested in commuting and touring.

I have seen the WizWheelz TerraTrike Cruiser and the ActionBent. What are your opinions of these two trikes? Which would you recommend? Would you recommend a different one altogether?

I'm shopping for a road/road-like bike (road "comfort" and cyclocross bikes are in consideration) in the $1,000 range, most likely to come from one of the the big companies like Cannondale, Specialized, Trek, Jamis, etc. (I have several nice locally owned and managed shops to choose from, so I'm covered there). I'd like to know - aside from the bike itself - who are the better companies - companies I can feel good about doing business with? Who behaves responsibly from a global, people, environmental, community, etc. perspective... Of the big makers, whom is the "least evil"? (While I'd consider smaller makers - I know *nothing* about that space and I need to be able to purchase/have it serviced in the Twin Cities, MN area...)

Who as an adult has a tricycle? I am 32 and never learnt how to ride a bike (bicycle) as we never had clear roads the country I come from.

Now i have a tricycle, which is LOVELY but I feel a bit shy on the roads people keep having a laugh at me.

Last year this time I tried to learn how to ride a bike. My husband took my (feet pettels) off, and I tried to balance. I was great on it, but only one particular, flat surface. Then I flew couple of times and it was very dangerous from pavement to the ground. I had very bad knee pains for weeks and thought i'll buy a tricycle which I did.

do you think that those new bikes which are smaller wheel would have made me balance better rather than the bigger wheels where when you fall you fly high up?

along these criteria: keep bikes secure; are easy to install; don't damage your car; hold up over the long run; are easy to get bikes into and out of.
