im not a pro at running but i have been doing it for about 2 weeks daily at the town track. i run 1 and a half miles daily and am escalating every half week or when i feel comfortable enough to do so. I feel like i am getting bored at the track and want to have a new place to run. In my town, there is a straightaway for about 11 miles and it is very flat and newly paved. But, i dont want to run on this because i hear that running on anyting but a track is bad for your knees. Is this ok if i run in a wood trail or on the grass or on the pavement?

What team do u see representing the "BCS bids" and the "at-large bids?" There are now 4 BCS bowls and the National Championship!

I think it'll be Texas, LSU, Notre Dame, Louisville, Ohio State, Miami, Auburn, TCU, Cal, Iowa! Texas and LSU representing the National Championship Game. Call me crazy if u want.

Because it's just silly and misleading for a team that is tied for the best record or has the second best record in their league to be considered a wild card just because it's in the same division as the other number one team. Plus, seedings don't really mean much in baseball since homefield advantage in the World Series is based on the all-star game. Not that homefield advantage makes much of a difference anyway, since when was the last time the team with the best record won it all?

What is the name of the song that they played just before the faceoff in some Edmonton Oilers / Carolina Hurricanes games this past Stanley Cup final?

Its like a really fast techno tune, its hard to describe. Its almost something where like if you have a strobe light flashing, the music is almost in perfect tune with the flashing of the light....

BAD EXAMPLE, I know lol but the song is really hard to describe...wish I had a video clip or something. :(

What ever since andy defeated roger every one saying that he wil be the fututre no 1 and he will go on winning the us open he one of the best players in the world,it was just a win over federer just because roger was tired of the long week he had in toronto this does not mean that murray the best now,samething happen to federer with gasquet but roger came back and ever since that day he always beat gasquet,murray is no difference anyone who can defeat roger 2 times in a year like nadal is a good player but that doesnot mean that murray the best and hey maybe in the us open murry will lost in the 1 round and i am sure next time roger battles murray then roger will show him the real him all energizes

I want to ask, when is it required to TAG a baserunner and when it is adequate to just step on the base. For example, on a steal, u need to tag the basestealer, but lets say a guy grounds out, u only need to toouch the base. When does it become a requirement to tag instead of touch? Of course, touchin the base is so much easier.....

my tennis coach told me to play a match against this girl who's a "pusher". She just hits the ball over the net and makes sure it doesn't go out. I hate playing one of those people because I want to be aggressive, but sometimes the ball can go out, then the point will be her's. I've only played tennis about a year, but I practiced A LOT, almost everyday. I learned the right way to do the strokes and such. My shots could be very nice but i'm not good enough to be consistent so there are occasions(especially under pressure) that i don't do as well. During the days of the preseason, i didn't do so well..mainly because under the pressure of the coach watching you. She concentrate on the scores more and not the skills of the individuals. I practice more than most of the players on my team. And this year, I want to get into varsity and i know my skills are better than some people. But when I play a challenge under pressure with a pusher there's a possiblity of me messing up.WHAT SHOULD I DO?
