A perfectly good holiday celebrating the collective greed of children and adults in a materialist, capitalist society is being ruined every year by a group of people claiming something about a baby being born during a census.
Who needs that? We have Santa and his reindeer. Let's get rid of these three wise guys who go around giving people gold (alright lets keep the gold) frankincense (stinky) and myyrh (stinky stuff to cover up the smell of dead bodies).
We need more holiday sales and less Salvation Army money grubbing.
More waiting in line for $20 DVD players all night and less midnight mass.
I say keep Christ out of our sacred holiday.

Keep Christ out of X-MAS.

I don't want to fornicate. So what advise does the Bible give horny, single, grown, sexy adults who haven't had sex in months and months, but really really want to?

It has been suggested that the Amendendment to the US Constitution to ban same sex Marriage is based on God's Law as found in Leviticus 18:22 where God says lieing with a man like another man is an abomination.

I am curious, since I want to follow God's Law, should we also repeal the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments immediately, since Leviticus 25:44 specifies the conditions I can have for owning slaves?

I know many of you are going to tell me that Romans 1 (and the smart ones will tell me 1 Corinthians 6:9) is where in the New Testement the New Testement backs the Leviticus 18:22.

So where in the New Testement do we see the eilmination of the slavery provisions of Leviticus 25:44?

I want to own slaves and obey God and Praise the Lord and Praise his holy name Jesus.

Additionally, Deuteronomy 13:6-10 instructs us to kill non believers. Shouldn't we start rounding up non-Christians and get an amendment to the US Constitution Amendment 1?

Does that have anything to do with the nature of people? Does the popularity of stupid, frivolous things in general say anything about popular things in general? Does the general populace have anything stupid to say about naturism? You are all naked under your clothes.

Ok it starts :
20 Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded [a] to plant a vineyard. 21 When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent. 22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside. 23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness.

Then it just goes right to:
24 When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him, 25 he said,
"Cursed be Canaan!
The lowest of slaves
will he be to his brothers." --------------

What did Ham do? it looks like all he did was went outside and told his brothers "hey, dad's naked and drunk in the tent hahaha" - and what does Ham's son Canaan have to do with it? why does he have to be a slave because of it??

a lot of people want religion back in school, they want our teachers to teach creationism in place of or alongside evolution. what about the many people who don't believe in creationism?

and wouldn't that be forcing your religion onto others?

i know a lot of people are going to say teaching evolution is against what they believe too but remember, evolution is not a part of religious faith.

There seems to be a lot of negative sentiment.

Whatever your opinion, could you please go on to answer the following.

1) What do you think the most difficult aspect of teaching would be?

2) What is the most important thing that kids should learn at school?

3) Have you considered being a teacher? Why or why not.

Any further insight would be much appreciated, I am currently studying to be a teacher.

My fellows! You have doubtless seen here clear and convincing evidence that very few christians herein have any clue as what science is about.

Obviously, this does not bode well for the future of our nation. A nation of scientifically "illiterate" adults will not long prosper and, as witnessed here, will sink into a habitual mediocrity of thought.

What happened! America used to produce the western worlds best scientists.

Is this dumbing down of the populace the result of a faulty school system, curriculum and otherwise?

Or is this thinking the kind of mush that passes for"science" in the public schools these days?

Christmas is the celebration of Christ's birth. Using Xmas is not cute, not shorthand, it's the deliberate removal of Christ out of his own celebration. Don't people who use this word instead of CHRISTMAS know that this is an insult to Christians?

I am very interested in learning about the science behind creationism. Based on the question if man came from monkeys why are there still monkeys, I am unable to give a good answer.

So I am interested in learning about the Creationism.

So, in the interest of creating a database of questions and answers, I would like the answers to this question:

What scientific evidence do Creationists have to back the hypothesis that God came out of the sky on Day 6 to create the human being out of the dust in the ground?

Since this is clearly a valid scientific theory, I'm sure that we can take a look at some of the evidences that will be listed here, and be able to verify the validity of the evidence?

Also, in order for it to be scientifically valid, it would have to be repeatable. So this also begs the second question, when will God be returning to Earth to do another creation of life?
