Is transubstitution too big a word for you to understand? At least they don't eat Mary with the wine. At least their communion is REAL, and not water down grape juice symbolic going through the motions like most protestants. And Atheist, no bloody Mary jokes, your minds are too reprobate to understand spiritual things any way, praise Jesus.

Take a look at the roots of your faith, you probably have it simply because you were raised that way or because you needed consoling that religion can offer, that's not a problem. However you have no proof your faith is right. So how can you ever try to disprove any other faith? When I ask why you believe without any solid evidence all I get is "That's what faith is for." Ok, so you're admitting you don't have evidence, good. So if you admit you don't have evidence how can you reasonably state that your religion is more likely than anyone elses? It's all BELIEF, so to me God is just as likely to be real as Zues and Poseidon and Hermes and Hera and the rest of that crew. No one can disprove that old religion either, and yet you would call it foolish for some one to believe it. My point and question is why should you acted like a bigot against other religions if you really just have faith not proof and why would you close your mind to any other religion with equally nonexistant proof?

This of course assumes you have atheist friends, which I'm sure many on this site do.

If I knew that one of my friends was about to be sent to prison and tortured I would do anything I could to prevent it.

How can you live knowing that your atheist friends will spend eternity in torment? Why do you not spend every hour of every day trying to convince them to convert?

Surely you can't just accept it as their right to have an opinion when they are condemning themselves to eternal damnation? Unless of course you don't actually care about them.

For any Atheists who wish to answer I actually have 3 questions:

First, what exactly do you believe-- do you think there is any higher power at all?
Secondly, where do you go when you die, if anywhere?
Thirdly, When did you become an Atheist?

I appreciate any answers, since I don't personally know any Atheists, except for a couple friends back in high school who never really answered my questions. Thanks!

Books are subject to human forgery.

Books require 'interpretation'.

For example, the Bible's "Tho shalt not kill". Does that mean ever, even in defense? Or "turn the other cheek". Does this mean even in the face of a war party that just killed all the people in the neighboring village? You gonna let your kids be killed?

How about the Quran's "Fight all people who do not believe in Allah". Is this only for back then or a command for eternal genocide on people who dont submitt to Islam? Or how about another chapter in the Quran that Muslims use to counter the previous, where it tells muslims (Surah 2) to fight them but not to kill the innocents. Who are the innocents? All muslims innocents but not non-muslims? The Quran doesnt say so you have many interpretations, some proclaiming religious genocide, other saying "that was not meant for today and innocents means anyone, muslim or not".

So, a book is a totally imperfect medium...could God have done better..right?

Do you have the right to tell someone else's children they will "go to hell" for this and that. Do you have the right to tell someone else's children that they will not "go to hell."

Since science is based on naturalism and rejects supernatural explanations ( Like God, miracles, creationism, afterlife, angels, unicorns, and other biblical concepts), isn't it actually anti-bible and anti-Christ as well. Is a christian scientist an oxymoron in this post-modern age? Shouldn't our culture be based on the word of God, and not the wisdom of man? God said it, I believe it, that settles it, amen?

WHY THEY WILL NEVER COMPLETELY ACCEPT US ATHEISTS

1. They will never think our deaths are equal

2. The belief in a Skydaddy is their ultimate comfort zone. Us Atheists very existence bothers them.

3. They're taught that everyone is better off believing in a skydaddy(Even though people are killing in the name of their Skydaddy)

4. They're so brain washed, they dont understand that right and wrong is common sense. They think we dont know right from wrong because we dont believe the fairy tale book

THEY GIVE US NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO RULE. THEY THINK LIKE SHEEP ANYWAY.

Nowhere does it state that we came from monkeys. It states that at one point there was a primate before there were monkeys or humans that spread over an area, from there one group found that living in trees and being hairy was more fit, and through natural selction the ones most fit lived on and the ones that couldn't quite make it died out until over the years the ones that exhibited the most fit traits had the traits so bred into their lineage that they seemed a different species than the primate they once were. Now they are all the different monkeys we have.

Another group of the same primate didn't have as many land predators so they stayed on the ground. Due to climate they didn't need hair, so they shed it or never grew it, they needed to grab more and so learned how to walk on two legs. Eventually they became our humans after many many years. Do we know how life started? No. Will we ever? Probably not, we weren't there. Does this prove there is a God? Absolutely not.
