I remember when I was a child there was an English professor getting his hair cut in my grandfather's barber shop who answered this question. However, all I remember is that it was the slang language of American cowboys; it was the answer the last cowboy would sound out when called to find out if he was "okay". It was the initials OK - what did they mean?

I've learned a lot of spanish throughout my life and recently decided to take a test to satisfy school credit.

The problem is, I'm also currently studying brazilian portuguese and it's tying my brain up in knots. Is there any good way to take on learning two diff't languages without defeating the purpose? Are there any programs that you know of that make it easier?
