I've never heard someone say "Happy St. X Day" instead of St. Patrick's Day, or X-ween for Halloween.

Why say X-mas?

i am giving my sister a tattoo for Christmas and it is difficult to wrap as she will schedule to get it done at a later date. but part of the fun of gifts is to open them on Christmas, so any ideas on something to give in gift form on Christmas morning?

My mother keeps a closet full of gifts she never used and "free-gift-with-purchase" items. Every birthday and Christmas she pulls one out for me, while I have always thought for hours about a gift that might make her happy.
She is financially well-off, but I suppose this stems from the fact that she was quite poor as a child. Should I just keep smiling and saying "Thanks, mom" ?
