I want to ge tthem something but there is like 10 of them and I need it to be cheap.

How many of you have still not got their decs up yet? What is the purpose of hanging decorations, and when did it start.How many of you know that they should be put up on the1st day being Christmas eve, and taking down on the 6th January being the 12th day of christmas. That some people gave a present on everyday of the 12 days. We did for our children growing up as it gave them something to look forward to everyday. We still put ours up as near as possible, due to the fact we are not as young as we were and takes longer each year.

i myself have no clue what i want i mean i would be completely happy if she got me a little thing but she wants to get me something big for christmas. but the catch is that she wants it to be a surprise and doesnt want any hint at what i want ..everything she planned on getting me is sold out what should she do!!??

I was seven and I was really into Raggedy Ann and Andy. My mom had a seamstress make me an Ann doll with the heart and all. She went everywhere with me, even into the operating room a few weeks after. I thought that I had lost when I was in the military but after searching all of the boxes I had found her. A couple of years back she was in my basement in her rocker and we had a sewage pipe burst in the house. She was ruined and I was devastated. She was unfixable. Although it was not the same we found a set at a second hand shop and my husband got them for me. It was the thought that counted and on our bed they sit. She was my best friend through thick and thin and every chance I get I tell my mom how much I loved her and how much I appreciated her being given to me.

I think so.

Not so many presents - but ones we actually wanted and played with for years afterwards.

Much better TV - Morcombe & Wise, Muppet Christmas Special and big movies we probably hadn't seen before (how many times have we all seen Monsters Inc and Harry Potter).

And at least one white Christmas (that I can recall).

i gave a card with an instant lotto ticket to all the employees at my work for xmas.. on person won $2.00 on it and left me a note saying thanks and here is your half and gave me $1.00. i really dont know what is rite in this case i dont want the buck but if i tell him to take it back that its his gift will i offend him? i know its just a buck but what if someone else wins more and trys to give me 1/2 then what? i just dont want my gester of friendship by giving a gift to become about me getting money back thats not at all what i intended when i gave them out...what would you do keep the money or give it back? i tried putting this in a different place on here but no one answered so i thought i would try here

I found a great website where it shows you how to wrap a present.

There are different ways to wrap it... and it also shows you how to wrap with ribbons.

I thought it was cute and it helped give me a nice little touch-up to the present I am wrapping for my boyfriend. : }

My kids which are a little older 16,14,12 and still get up 1 or 2 in the morning to open their gifts and are awake until the next night and often end up sleep deprivated Christmas Day.
Just to let you know 'Santa' comes to our place during the night.
(we have little readers out there so I hope we will keep the spirit of 'Santa' alive during this column)

I would like to download some nice looking Christmas ecard, and the ecard need to be in jpg or gif format.
I found out most of the ecard on web is either animated or too low quality, and those are not what I want.
Can anybody suggest me some website to download it?
