Your muse? Do you have one? Do you feel your creative energy comes from God?

If I am open to options, and I believe that there is
a) something in the afterlife, but I'm not sure what and am not going to stress about it until it is revealed, and
b) am also open to the possibility that there may not be an afterlife, and may be nothing out there. Does that make me agnostic, or agnostic and athiest (even though that's not quite possible). (or is it?)

Basically I believe whatever is possible, and I am okay with that. There might be something, or not

(and to any potential frivolous postings, yes God loves me, of course, thank you)

if you are true, we muslims are taught to always defend, and never evoke other people. Why do you always say that we are wrong? can't we just live peacefully??

I know some people believe we should baptize in Jesus' name alone. That baptizing in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost is wrong. What about Matthew 28:19? Didn't Jesus Himself teach to baptize in all 3?

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

I am currently on Social Security....Disability. I know that I am allowed to make up to $900 a month and still receive benefits but......I have a chance to work 10 hours a week....not substantial activity and no where near the $900 a month limit. I would like people who are currently on SSDI and working to let me know if this at ANY way will make SS investigate me and forfeit my benefits? I am not even sure I can do the job but would like to try. I know SS encourages people to work....but do not want to chance losing my benefits. I need reassurance from people who have done this with no problem.....or any SSDI experts.....thank you in advance.

Why are there no arguments about Thanksgiving?

Could it be because, no matter what other differences of opinion we may have, we all like to eat?

I am going to make my own... finally. I have a couple of sets, but like with most things of this nature, I prefer to make my own to make them more personal to me (rather than deal with stones or those annoying plastic "runes"). Which wood is better to use to make them? Oak? Ash? Cedar? And do you apply anything to them, such as polyurethane? I would rather NOT use any chemicals, but I would like them to last a while.

I've heard people of different faiths say that their faith has transformed their life and changed them for the better. How has Paganism transformed you and your life? And which form of Paganism do you practice and for how long?

About a year ago I was rude to a blind woman (I KNOW SO HORRIBLE!) she was saying "excuse me" over and over in the street so I went up to help her and she got really angry. So I said "then stop standing there yelling excuse me" and walked away. The guilt is unbearable. What a horrible horrible dispicable thing to do. I've tried to find her but I havent been able to. I just want to apologize so badly. That poor woman. It makes me sick just thinking about it. I don't even know what to do anymore.
Thats all - and it's so so so bad. Oh god I wished I'd just kept my mouth shut! I'm not asking for someone to alieviate my guilt I just need a suggestion as what to do. I think about it all the time.

By refusing to accept anything but the Bible as the revelation of God, and declaring you can't be saved unless you believe in the Bible alone, are fundamentalist sola scriptura adherants actually turning the Bible into an Idol?

It seems that way to me. How often do we hear these people say 'the answer is in the Bible', or 'turn to the bible' instead of 'turn to God' and 'the answer is Christ'.

http://www.nvic.org/PressReleases/pr62706gardasil.htm

" The National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) is calling on the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to just say "no" on June 29 to recommending "universal use" of Merck's Gardasil vaccine in all pre-adolescent girls. NVIC maintains that Merck's clinical trials did not prove the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine designed to prevent cervical cancer and genital warts is safe to give to young girls"

I was in this section last year stating these things but all I did was get a bunch of people attacking me, saying I was looney and lo and behold my word was true all along. lol.

What are your thoughts on this? Have you gotten the vaccination or has your child? My doc tried to get me to take it but I refused. Good thing I did that...

Schools across the country hang Christmas, Kwanza and Hanukkah decorations each year. We have Halloween parties, Easter Bunnies and Santa Clause. Every student is expected to join in carols, and holiday plays.

This Ramadan season, a Muslim PTA member, whose job it is to hang the decorations each year, hung Ramadan lights at her children's elementary shool (that has 30% muslim students), creating outrage as parents dressed in red white and blue protested the display.

If such a discriminating act were done against Jews, it would be anti - semitic. If against Blacks, the Rainbow Coalition would be there. Why is it not seen as bigoted to discriminate against American Muslims?

I think all Holidays should be represented, or leave them ALL at HOME.

What do you think??

I was about 35. I started driving late, and I went to take the eye exam at MVA. I was told to read the letters. I told the person that they needed to adjust the screen that displayed the letters before I could read them. He nonchalantly looked at me without blinking, and asked when was the last time I got my eyes checked. I insisted that I had 20/20 vision. I was wrong and needed distance glasses. When I put them on I never realized what I was missing. I could see clearly!!!

Why do Atheists say that their is no God, and substitute the name God for Gawd? They both sound the same! The Bible says that the fool hath said in his heart, their is no God! I am not calling anyone fools. If you think I am calling you a fool, that is guilt. RYANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
